6 Attitudes of High Achievers

The 6 Attitudes of High Achievers  John R. Noe  1. Make no small plans: Make big ones  Reflection :  I think that this is a great way to be a high achiever because you will not set a small limit to yourself. By setting big plans, you will have more to achieve. If you set a small goal, you only set yourself up to a small and specific task. I will apply this to my everyday life by pushing myself. Instead of wanting to score a "B" in a class, I would much rather aim for a "A+". This can be seen in the quote, "Make big plans; aim high in hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once recorded will not die" by Daniel Burnham. This quote shows how one should aim high and how you should not be settling for a small plan. A personal aim for me will be like adding a turbo to my car in the future. Instead of just upgrading the engine and adding a medium size turbo, I would rather swap out the entire engine and add a bigger size turbo. This

UC Irvine Background and Information

University of California Irvine is located in Irvine, CA 92697 Admission requirements: SAT score of anything higher than 1120 and ACT score of 24 and higher and a GPA of a 3.5 and higher. Tuition:  estimated around around $32,000  Degrees: are mostly medical, engineering, and science related Specialized: in the medical field  Would I like to attend U of  C Irvine, from my perspective, no, because I want to Major in mechanical or automotive engineering. So why would I want to go to a medical school? I mean do not get me wrong, U of C Irvine is a great school, but just not for my major. If I wanted to be a doctor well then I would want to got U of C Irvine, but I don't. So I have to look at schools that are ranked high in what I want to Major in. What I want to major in is automotive engineering, so I need to go to schools with a high ranked in mechanic and engineering.

9/11

The 9/11 Incident Reflection: I think that it was one of the most awful's days of mankind. It was a day that will forever leave a mark in everyone who did and did not witness this event. Many think that this was an act of terrorist but others may say that this was an inside job. It was very heart-breaking to see because some of the victims had no other choice but to commit suicide. This really is sad because it is shocking how someone could do such a evil act and even think of doing such a evil thing. The towers were made mostly of steel and jet fuel burns at 800 to 1500 degrees fahrenheit, not hot enough to melt steel.
