Innovation-Electric Vehicles

Electric cars are more beneficial to the environment because they don't release any carbon dioxide. They are powered by 1 or 2 more electric motors that make the vehicles run. There are 4 types of vehicles at the moment: all-electric powered cars, gasoline, diesel, and hybrid cars. The difference between all-electric and hybrid is that all-electric is powered by just electricity and a hybrid is electric and gasoline powered. I honestly do not like electric cars or hybrid. I'd much rather prefer a big block v8 engine. I love cars that are loud and fast but electric cars only are fast (some) and they are not loud. Like the only electric cars I like are the Tesla p100d  and the Porsche 918. The Tesla is full on electric but is pretty fast and the Porsche 918 drivetrain consists of a 4.6l v8 and a 6.8 kW battery. The Tesla p100d can take one many built cars at the track and the 918 looks good and is fast as well.

Just this week I believe I have done a lot to prepare myself for my future. I have gotten more information about the Marines. I took the PICAT and got a good score so I am going to go to take the ASVAB this Thursday and then going to get my physical next Tuesday. Joining the Marines is something I have looked forward for a long time. Once I graduate high school, my leave to boot camp is estimated to be in August or September. I am joining with a friend and are supposed to be in boot camp together. The Power of Resourcefulness

The Power of Resourcefulness  Jennifer Witterick  Reflection: I learned that how she explains that we get resourcefulness from ourselves. There is no place we can go look for it, buy it becuase its inside us. The example she used was helping baby chicks break out of an egg vs letting them go through the rough experience on their own. The results were that the ones who were help ended up being weaker and those who did it on their own, were stronger and lived more long. This shows us that we don't always need other peoples help through rough times. We need to learn how to be patient and have inner strength to overcome challenges on our own. This will make us a stronger person overall because we will get trained to be independent and know how to overcome obsticles. Reflection: To me this overall means to go into any situation with a mindset of winning. By doing so, you put yourself into a self-advantage because you enter with confidence.
