Some of these programs offered at schools consist of authoring systems, desktop publishing, graphic software, reference software, drill and practice software, tutorial software, educational games, simulations, special needs software, math problem solving software, utility software and much more. Teaching computer software is very important to know and can have lots of benefits. An example can be like students can become more engaged to the lessons and keeps students interested with videos, pictures, graphics and sounds. This leads to students being more productive and always wanting to learn more. Some schools teach these programs exclusively on Mac or on PC. While some schools on the other hand, teach on both so kids can have a feel on the diversity of programs on differents types of computers.
